Streamline Surgical Reach Out To Their Patients

Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- The team at Streamline Surgical are delighted to announce the launch of the Thinner Times patient newsletter.

The newsletter was developed as the Streamline Surgical team wanted to be able to regularly communicate with all their past and present patients in an informal yet informative way.  

For many people weight loss surgery is a commitment for life and Streamline Surgical wanted to develop the newsletter as a regular way to communicate with people whatever stage they are at on their journey.  

Whether patients have had a gastric bypass or gastric band, the newsletter content is accessible to all and will inform patients whatever stage they are at on their weight loss journey.

The newsletter has been designed to be of particular benefit to those patients that may not have internet access and so would be unable to benefit from the Streamline Surgical website.    

Lead surgeons for Streamline Surgical Shaw Somers and Guy Slater, are really keen to reach out to all patients and are of course delighted to hear success stories from past patients. Guy Slater said:

The first issue of Thinner Times is being distributed now and contains a feature on surviving the festive season, a chat with bariatric nurse Velia Hall and two fantastic success stories from a gastric bypass patient and gastric band patient.

Regular features that will appear in each newsletter include:

•   Success Stories – Every newsletter two patients will be selected to share their story and will also receive £100 of high street clothing vouchers

•   Streamline Surgical columnists – Every newsletter a Streamline Surgical patient will share their unique insight in to weight loss surgery.

•   Bariatric Chef. Every newsletter Streamline Surgical patients will share cooking tips and recipes

The Thinner Times newsletter will be printed quarterly and distributed to past and present Streamline Surgical clients.
