MICHAEL Jackson was given treatment by a top Ulster cosmetic surgeon while he was in Ireland three years ago.
Fermanagh man Dr Patrick Treacy (53) enjoyed a close relationship with the singer during check-ups to fix his face.
Dr Treacy, from Garrison, said: "We had to see him at the clinic around two or three in the morning.
"Often celebrities will want to come and be treated when there is nobody else around -- that's part of the norm.
"Michael would have gone for procedures on his face, to repair other work."
Dr Treacy said he became pals with Jacko over a five-month period of treating him.
He added: "I must say that I found him to be a wonderful and honest person.
"I knew him at the level of staying in his house when he was in Ireland.
"He said to me, 'Patrick, one thing I don't want is to become another poor black man when I die, being ripped off by white managers'.
"He always had a fear of that and he mentioned many of his friends who would have died in the previous 20 to 30 years."
