La La Loop works mainly with Cashmere and Geelong lambswool. Using a combination of colour and strong texture she produces original, vibrant pieces that have a careful hand-crafted touch to them.
Lorraine's inspiration is taken from nature's own simple structure's that give the effect of natural movement, from the patterns on tree bark to ripples in the sand.
Lorraine graduated from the Scottish College of Textiles, now called the Heriot Watt University and holds a Masters degree in knitted textile design. She has sold her work around the world and as exhibited as far afield as Japan.
Now based in Glasgow, Lorraine is still knitting her socks of and sharing her woolly delights with the world. Her skill and imagination create beautiful and unique garments and accessories for people who appreciate them.
Her vibrant new collection offers luxurious scarves, soft and cosy cushions, gorgeous lambswool hot water bottle covers and much more.
