(Port Jefferson, NY) — Save-A-Pet, a not-for-profit animal rescue center, is holding its 10th Annual “Evening for the Love of Animals” 2010 Fur Ball on Thursday, February 11 from 7-11 p.m. at the beautiful Flowerfield Celebrations Catering at 199 Mills Pond Road, St. James. Come celebrate Valentine’s Day early with a night of entertainment and fun, all for the love of animals.
The Fur Ball is Save-A-Pet’s annual dinner dance and silent auction that is held to raise money for the organization. It also brings people together who share a common bond: a love for animals. The money will be used to continue Save-A-Pet’s commitment to such programs as pet adoption, spaying and neutering; feral cat TNR (trap, neuter and return); humane education and public awareness.
The evening includes dancing, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, coffee, a silent auction, raffles and much more. Tickets are $100 per person, and half the price of each ticket is tax-deductible. Checks are made payable to Save-A-Pet. RSVPs will be accepted until February 1. Those who are unable to attend can make a financial contribution to one of Save-A-Pet’s programs. Dress attire is smart casual.
Checks can be mailed to: Save-A-Pet, 608 Route 112, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. To purchase tickets, or for more information, please contact Save-A-Pet at (631) 473-6333, or visit the organization’
