While the daughter-mother collaboration led to the creation of YourPictureFrames.com, the story starts 64 years earlier, when Alisha’s grandparents opened a small retail photography store nestled in the foothills of northern California. The original store started out as a photography studio and retail photo shop selling frames, cameras, photographic supplies and equipment.
In 1972 Corinne and husband Byron purchased the store. They owned and ran the successful photography business for over 33 years. During that time, Alisha and her brother, Jason spent many hours at the store learning about running a business from a young age. "I have so many happy memories helping out at the store and it really taught me a lot of things that have helped me become the person I am today,"
