(NEW YORK, NY) – The Moving Picture Collective of New York City (MoPictive NYC) announces it’s first meeting of 2010 will take place Wednesday, January 20, 2009 at the Helen Mills Theater. This meeting is sponsored with support from AJA Video Systems. The theme for our January meeting is DSLR Filmmaking. This meeting features a special raffle of AJA’s $3995 KiPro (a limited number of raffle tickets are available) and marks the return of Show & Tell in the form of MoPictive Shorts, our new monthly short film series.
“We’re very excited about 2010 – the beautiful new venue, the presenters, the topics, our MoPictive Shorts Series, are all designed to carry forward the legacy that our group founder Michael Vitti created,” said Patrick Inohofer, President of Mopictive. “We hope that the new screening venue, along with the monthly networking opportunities fostered by food, drink, and great presenters will inspire and educate our local digital filmmakers.”
