IS-BAO is the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, a strict code of best practices and safety standards established for corporate flight departments and jet charter companies. The IS-BAO was developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and is considered the “highest standard” for business flight departments in meeting effective and efficient processes for safety, security, and operating procedures.
The foundation of the IS-BAO is the Safety Management System (SMS), a proactive method of identifying, controlling and mitigating risks. SK Jet’s safety and operational practices were rigorously audited and examined during the certification process. All aspects of the operation was reviewed and found to exceed the standards set by the International Business Aviation Council as well as ICAO.
