New Degassing tubes for the molten Aluminum Industry

Jan. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- The removal of hydrogen gas from molten aluminum is a must when casting low porosity components.
There are two designs of Nitrogen / Argon delivery tubes available:
Degassing “T”
Degassing “Lance”
With the new design quick disconnect coupling there is:
Minimal installation time.
Less handling of the high temperature components.
Easy conversions to the quick disconnect system.
The new designed Nitrogen / Argon delivery area delivers a finer bubble size to allow a larger surface area of molten aluminum to be treated for hydrogen removal.
The state of the art material the units are constructed with allow a higher resistance to aluminum attack and corundum growth on and within the units. These units have yielded results that more than double the life of the standard units.
The overall dimensions are 20”x20” for the “T” and 20”x4” for the “lance”
