Hottest Bollywood NYE Party in DC area Welcomes 2010!!!

Jan. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- It was two days before New Years Eve 2009 and the Hottest Bollywood New Years Eve party in DC was beginning to look even hotter. Shalabh Agarwal from Shalabh Entertainment and Nitin A. Verma with Pepper Tree Productions were hosting a unique Bollywood/Bhangra cost efficient party for the community including food, music and dancing for the entire family.

Starting from the beginning planning stages, Shalabh and Nitin were caught in discussions about what people wanted and more so needed in order to enjoy a good night out on the town. “If you are single and young there are clubs that you can always visit and have fun, but once you are married and have children, options are limited” said a local community member. A typical New Years Eve party for a married South Asian couple tends to be a family get together which is cost effective; however, these events lack the ambiance that most New Years Even parties possess. Shalabh & Nitin brainstormed and from that stemmed ‘New Years Eve 2009 with Family & Friends’ that not only was cost effective but possessed the feel that all were looking for.  

‘New Years Eve 2009 with Family & Friends’ was hosted at Aroma Restaurant, http://www.aromarestaurant.com, located in Shirlington, Virginia. Daljeet Chhatwal, owner of Aroma Restaurants in DC and Shirlington was ecstatic about the event and made certain that “extra efforts were put in by his team to ensure that everything from the food and décor were perfect”. The night started with a classic, delicious buffet served alongside a premium open bar preparing the crowd for a fun filled evening.  At 11 PM DC’s finest XTRAHOTDJ’s Bobby, Romi, G2 pumped up the sound and the crowd. The fog began filling up the dance floor, the lasers and lights bounced to beat of the latest Bollywood & Bhangra music. Just a few minutes before midnight, total darkness took over the venue as champagne glasses rose in the air and as laser lights and fog filled the room once again. At the stroke of midnight dhols and cheers echoed Aroma as everyone wished friends, family and strangers alike a Happy and Prosperous New Year ahead.

That is how a New Year should begin with friends, family, and new found friends in the New Year. Welcome to 2010!!!
