Delta, British Columbia – As many of you are aware, the Transportation Plan for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games has been recently published by VANOC. As Vancouver is in the countdown to less than 40 days from this monumental event for our City and Province, White Paper Co. would like to inform their customers on how best to plan for their office consumable needs as well as general delivery needs during the 2010 Games.
First and foremost, White Paper Co. will do everything in its abilities to ensure that their customers receive their shipments as quickly and as efficiently as possible during the 2010 Games. From January 25th to March 1st, movement in the downtown core and southside areas will be challenging and “business as usual” will indeed not be the case. Road closures and limited to no loading zones during what would be considered normal business hours will present distribution disruptions that White Paper Co. will try their best to mitigate.
White Paper Co. urges all of their customers to plan ahead in early January to have most to all of their office consumable needs delivered prior to the Games commencing. They do realize that this may not be possible in all cases and thus they will continue to deliver during the games period both on their own fleet of vehicles as well as using third party couriers and delivery services.
White Paper Co.’s sales and distribution staff is available to discuss their various strategies which include: midnight to 6am deliveries, bulk purchasing and storage, etc. For those who are not able to receive deliveries between midnight and 6am, White Paper Co. will also have a limited secondary delivery time between 6am and 12 noon. Deliveries after 12 noon as well as deliveries and pick ups from restricted access locations will not be possible during the Games period.
