Employees at the UK’s leading drinks logistics company Tradeteam captured the true spirit of Christmas at a festive fundraiser in aid of Children in Need.
The event was organised by members of Tradeteam’s CSR focus group at its Knowsley distribution centre in Liverpool and raised £275 for the BBC's UK corporate charity.
Tradeteam’s staff, their families and more than 140 children enjoyed an afternoon of food and party games, dancing, disco music and were delighted by a magical present giving visit from Santa himself.
The celebrations were hosted at a specially decorated Fairfield Club on Prescott Road.
John Pusey Tradeteam’s General Manager for the North West said: “I’d like to congratulate all of our employees who were involved in transforming the club into a winter wonderland. The afternoon was a huge success, you could just tell by the smiles on the kid’s faces.
“It was fantastic to raise money for a charity close to many of our hearts and to be able to give something back to the team and their families who all work incredibly hard at what is a very busy time of year for us.”
