Duncanville, TX: Camp Bow Wow® South West Dallas invites friends and neighbors to join them for a dog-gone-wild foot-stomp’n, fur-step’n Grand Opening Hoedown on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 10 am to 2 pm. The upscale Doggy Day and Overnight Camp at 519 E Highway 67, has pulled all stops to guarantee a howling good time for people and pups of all ages. Admission is free.
Camp owner and Top Dog, Stacey Copeland is celebrating the grand opening of her divine digs for dogs Dallas-style. Deloris Petty, Dallas’ very own Dog Whisperer will make a personal appearance at the event. Petty, a canine behavior specialist is known as the Alfa Dog by all pouting pups and harassed hounds that have attended her training sessions. Petty studies how a dog carries himself/herself – ears perked or droopy; tail wagging or down; the expression on his/her face – then relates to him through body language, a light-touch and calm authority to correct behavior problems. She’ll be on hand to provide some simple tips for training your dog, and will be happy to arrange for a one-on-one session for those pugnacious pups that need a more focused approach.
“We’ve planned a dog-gone-wild afternoon for people and pups of all ages,” said Copeland, “Deloris’ appearance is the icing on our cake! I love that she shares our philosophy and trains every dog as the unique individual he/she is.”
“At Camp Bow Wow it’s all about the dogs,” continued Copeland, “that’s why we’ve planned festivities dogs can dig right along with their parents. So bring your dog down to the party even if he hasn’t had a Camp Bow Wow interview yet. The pups that have passed their interview will be invited to run with the packs in our play yards. Unfortunately those that haven’t will be asked to remain leashed.”
