Puppychase Kennels today announced that its web site has moved to www.englishbulldogpuppychase.com. The web site domain was formerly puppychase.com.
"We feel that this more targeted domain name ( http://www.englishbulldogpuppychase.com ) will improve our visibility and boost our rankings in the various search engines," say Jason and Michelle Longley, owners of Puppychase Kennels. "We breed high quality AKC English Bulldogs and do not want those searching for their dream puppy or the best stud for their female to miss out because our web site does not always appear in the first few pages of search results."
"The Puppychase Kennels web site has been active for many years, and yet several newer English Bulldog breeding web sites seem to get better search engine placement because they have the keyword phrase 'english bulldog' in their domain name," comments Cynthia Rodzen, Puppychase Kennels' webmaster. "We initially hesitiated in making the change because we have worked hard at promoting the puppychase.com domain name and did not want to lose the ranking status we have achieved. However, with the help of Google's change of address webmaster tool, we hope that our current status will be maintained during the switch."
To ease the transition period, the pages hosted under the old puppychase.com domain will automatically be redirected to the new englishbulldogpuppychase.com domain. Email addresses will not be changed.
