Jan. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Comedy with a Native American edge comes to Seattle, when Marc Yaffee, headlines The Seattle Comedy Underground,   Jan 7-9.  Identifying himself as a  "Mexijo"  (Mexican Irish  & Navajo), Yaffee is the creator and co-star of the Pow Wow Comedy Jam (jokesignals.com).   Yaffee and Vaughn Eaglebear, this weekend's feature act, can both be seen throughout January  on the Showtime Comedy special, Goin' Native:  The American Indian Comedy Slam.  Goin Native is a historic, first-ever, all Native standup special.  Yaffee has also been  seen on the TV shows Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, Funny is Funny and the PBS special, Crossing the Line.

Razor sharp, jokes, in your face punchlines and a rapid fire delivery, have pegged Yaffee as a breakout comedian to watch.  The former writer for George Carlin's Laugh.com, isn't afraid to tackle hot button social issues while keeping the crowd laughing at him and themselves.

"I'm excited to do the Underground ,"  says Yaffee.   "Seattle is a great city, no matter how many Californains have invaded.  I'm from L.A.  I promise to make you laugh for  a couple of days and then leave. "

Showtimes are 8pm Thursday  and 8&10:15 Friday and Saturday.  Reservations are recommended.
