At the request of businesspeople throughout Nashville, Purvis and Robinson LLC (P&R) will be hosting “Speed Networking” on Tuesday, January 12, at 7 PM at Nashville’s City Club. This will be P&R’s second speed networking function.
While networking events occur like clockwork, and many are the same – typical mixing and mingling – P&R’s networking event is different because it’s formatted in a way that allows all participants to interact with each other. As such, participants have an opportunity to make a large number of contacts in a short amount of time.
Additionally, since P&R specializes in providing etiquette and professional advancement trainings, all P&R events begin with an educational component through which participants receive instruction on networking effectively.
After P&R’s last Speed Networking event event, a media sales representative commented, “This is the single, most effective networking event I’ve ever attended.” Another participant, who works in the insurance industry remarked, “I enjoyed the quick networking and excellent networking tips.”
Cornelia Robinson, Executive Director of P&R explains, “We, at Purvis and Robinson, understand the important role networking plays in helping people achieve their personal and professional endeavors. Whether looking for employment, seeking leads, hoping to solidify clients, or even just wanting to meet like-minded people, networking is essential. We want to ensure people have opportunities to engage in productive networking and are also confident knowing they’re networking properly.”
Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and include instruction, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, live music, and networking. The event is sponsored by The Original Girlfriends Network and Status Magazine Nashville, and is a National Networking Month participant.
