Disabled World - 2010 and Beyond

During 2009 the Disabled World website continued to grow in terms of visitors and members, as well as the addition of thousands of news stories, articles, and fact sheets to the site. Disabled World was pleased to see the number of websites dedicated to disability services and information continue to increase throughout 2009.

Changes Coming to Disabled World in 2010

Due to a number of requests and suggestions by members and visitors Disabled World (http://www.disabled-world.com) will be adding a number of new features to the website.

Some of these additions include:

* The Disabled World Disability Community (http://community.disabled-world.com) section will be receiving a major upgrade with many new and exciting features.

* A new disability chat room will be created for Disabled World members and visitors seeking health and disability support. In addition a members only chat plus Instant Messenger service will be provided in the Disability Community section.

* Following a huge number of requests from disability news readers seeking a reliable source of current news and information, a brand new dedicated Disability News website will be launched by Disabled World in early 2011.

* The very popular Disability Videos (http://videos.disabled-world.com) category will be expanded to provide further information on a wide range of health and disability topics, and will include the ability for visitors to upload their own videos related to disability.

These upgrades, and several other hush-hush coming additions to the site, will see Disabled World continue to expand and provide relevant health and disability information to our members and future visitors.
