What happening?

What this game lacks in playoff implications, it makes up for with historical possibilities. Tennessee running back Chris Johnson needs 128 yards to become the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. He needs 234 yards to break Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record set in 1984.

Though Seattle has hemorrhaged points during its three-game losing streak, it has not been run over. In fact, no running back has surpassed 100 yards in a game against Seattle since Week 2. Johnson hasn't been held to fewer than 100 yards in a game since Week 5, so something has to give.

The quarterbacks in this game are heading in different directions. Vince Young has resurrected his career in the second half of the season, and he now is 25-13 lifetime as Tennessee's starter. Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck, on the other hand, is coming off a second consecutive four-interception game. Two of his three worst single-game passer ratings have occurred this season.

Hasselbeck is 34 and Seattle is searching for a new general manager. That puts the pressure on Hasselbeck to show he can remain the team's starting quarterback headed into next season. He'll have a chance to do that, because Tennessee is 31st against the pass, but the Seahawks have struggled to find downfield opportunities this month.

The Bottom Line
Tennessee is the only team in the league that has yet to play at Qwest Field, which is considered one of the loudest stadiums in the league. A lot of the noise will be directed at the Seahawks this week, though. Seattle has lost three in a row by a combined 106-24. The Titans are 7-2 since making Young their starting QB. Only two teams have better records in that time: the Chargers (9-0) and the Colts (8-1). The Titans will continue their roll.
