Jan. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Combat the Fat is a health and fitness eBook written by Jeff Anderson. He claims that his product will help you lose 2-4lbs a week, so I had to see if this claim was legit. The common theme of this eBook is that you need to eat and exercise right in order to lose weight.

Jeff Anderson is an ex-military fitness trainer and his main goal is to be able to take his knowledge and help everyone reach their weight loss goals. Jeff is well known as the “Muscle Nerd” and has written quite a few eBooks such as Advanced Mass Building and Optimum Anabolics.

That's not what this is about, though. This is about fitness and weight loss. YOUR fitness and weight loss. Jeff Anderson can help you do it, and he is an expert.

Jeff's plan obviously takes a military approach. That's his background, so it suits him, and it's effective marketing. People view those in the military as generally in top physical condition. The aura is there, and it has appeal to both men and women, no matter what their current physical condition is.

I have had a preview of his package and let me tell you, it is outstanding (that came out wrong!). There is the main manual with all the basic information, a workout manual showing all the exercises, and a nutrition guide.

Yes, Jeff is very thorough. In the main book, he discuss 8 metabolic factors and how they help you lose weight. I like his analogy about battles and war. He says that although you may win battles from time to time, by losing a few pounds or eating right for a few days, you have still not won the war if you are not where you want to be physically. The approach is very easy to follow and entertaining as well.

The workout guide is 87 pages of diagrams, photos, and more. He takes you through all the exercises you need to know, as well details the exact workouts you need to be doing. There are a ton of pages of tracking sheets you can copy and use throughout the process. Full-color and easy to follow.

The nutrition manual is something you don't see a lot, but I'm glad it was addressed. I mark things down when they only hit exercise OR nutrition. I love programs that do both. It's 46 pages of knowledge, nutrition info, daily tips, shopping lists and more. Jeff is anti-calorie-counting and more about portion control. He "orders" you to eat dessert daily. "Sir, yes sir!"

Combat the Fat can definitely work for anyone, even though he has the tone of a military commander these guides and principles can be used by all. I think that Jeff truly has our best interests in mind and you can tell in the way he conveys his message. Even though he talks about how you can lose weight quickly, I’d just like to set the record straight that you will have to work at this in order to make it work for you. It will always take action in order to lose any amount of weight.
