Real Time - On-Line-Detection of Microbes In Soluble Oil

As an innovation we offer the first time in the world a real time (on-line) detection of microbes (bacteria, yeast, mold/spores) in the interesting level of 10e3 up to 10e6 germs / ml or g in soluble oil.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 01, 2010 -
Bioway GmbH and CellFacts Instruments Ltd. offer a high technology analytical instrument based on flow-impedance / singel cell fluorescence detection in real time. This system is designed to go on-line to supervise or control the level of microbial contamination.
It is important to control metabolic active microbes who could influence the quality / property
of soluble oil.
Biocides will influence microbes in putting them under stress which could be the first step in forming resistance. Such microbes are hard to detect on plate count agar or dip slides and will often give wrong results.
But only metabolic active organisms will influence the product - soluble oil.
The analytical instrument called CellFacts II is equipped with a work station to draw samples
and measure after fluorescence staining. The instrument got an orifice protection which enable the system to go on-line because the system will never be blocked by particles.
