Jan. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Kenya!  The name alone conjures images of lions, giraffes, leopards, rhinoceros and elephants.  These, and more, can be seen on a Kenya safari with Real Africa. In a continent rife with political unrest, Kenya’s republic has remained  relatively stable, making it a favorite destination for eco-tourists. Located on the east coast of Africa, on the Indian Ocean, the climate varies from tropical to arid. Mount Kenya rises near the center of the country, and Kilimanjaro can be seen to the south.

All Real Africa tours are booked with private parties only, minimum two people, assuring that your trip will be intimate and suited to your group.  Safaris range from 6 to 15 days in length, and vary from camping trips to luxury vacations.

Camp with style near the Masai Mara on a 6-day trip. The Masai Mara,  the northern extension of the Serengeti, boasts the spectacular annual migration of zebras, wildebeest, and Thompson’s gazelles.  For a longer camping expedition take the 14-day trip which also includes Lake Nakuru, famous for huge flocks of flamingos.  End the trip with some relaxation on the Indian Ocean beaches of Mombasa.

Those with a serious interest in seeing all of the country might choose the 12-day Kenya safari camping trip.  Travel from camp to camp where hot meals and two-person tents with beds await you.  You will visit all the major game reserves, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Mt. Kenya, and Samburu. Sampler tours with higher-class accommodations are also offered.

If more time on the beach appeals, choose from these options: A 2-week beach package with a 2-day safari to Masai Mara will please the ocean lovers.  For more variety, you could select a trip with 5 days at private lodges before moving to the Kenyan Coast.  One package tours Lakes Nakuru and Naivasha, and then the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Another similar safari visits Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park in the Great Rift Valley to the south with excellent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Real Africa even offers a Kenya safari for the entire family. Lodges for this tour are selected for providing programs tailored for children.  Diverse subject matter and hands-on activities will entertain and educate kids between the ages of 4 and 12, guaranteeing that they will come away from their African adventure with deep respect for what they have seen.

A Kenyan visit is the centerpiece of any African tour!
