"Even as they all are keeping their gazes transfixed on the series of lights, the six children will be soon amazed as the swirl of lights, in brilliant shades of a vivid rainbow--also while holding their breaths because of this eye beholding speculation;
then next right before the six children's eyes a "figure" emerges from this vortex. A young boy who looks to be the same identical age as they are--next the six children remain frozen still, while keeping their very curious eyes on the ancient as well as young Egyptian boy. ."
When six children from Edison Middle School, who one day decides to go to a local museum in their hometown to work on their school assignments;
all six of them will soon be taking a time travel of sorts along with a young, Egyptian boy through one of the very back walls of the museum. Then next, the group of twelve year olds are going to have the almost "real" life experience, once they all arrived to the ancient city of Memphis, Egypt. While being in "Kenefer's" day and age; the six kids will also take part in an aged, old game of chances which is known during a certain era of ancient Egypt known as "Senet."
This specific game was really a board game that had been played by the grown folks of ancient Egypt, which symbolizes the passage of the dead through the underworld.
"Once I had finished my own intensive research about "senet," afterward an amazing thought dawned on me; I decided to par down the game to a much younger, as well as modern generation."
When the six twelve year olds, are "thrown back" into ancient Egypt, by traveling with thier ancient host, a Egyptian boy of about twelve too; the six children; David Lim, Jamarius and Jada Carter, Bali Ervin, Carmen Alvera, and Dewy Wymer will "disappear" to play an ancient game to out wit their ancient, Egyptian host a twelve year boy named Kenefer.
