AIM-USA, manufacturer of Avionics Test & Simulation Products for Fibre Channel, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, and AFDX products introduces a new USB MIL-STD-1553 Analyzer called the APU1553.

The APU1553 is a complete test, simulation, monitor and recording product for MIL-STD-1553 applications. The unit provides one or two dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 streams and can concurrently act as Bus Controller, Multiple
Remote Terminals, and Chronological Bus Monitor. In addition, the APU1553 includes input / output discretes to be monitored or generated. The module is powered by a USB connection to the host computer eliminating the need for an external power source.

The APU1553 includes an on-board highprecision "free-wheeling" IRIG-B time encoder / decoder which allows users to synchronize the APU1553 to a common time source.

The APU1553 includes an Application Programming Interface (API) with Windows and Linux device drivers.

The optional PBA.pro Analyzer software incorporates databus protocol Analyzer features and high level data engineering unit conversion and visualization.
