Richmond, Virginia – For the second year in a row, the Silly Bus song Turkey Time was featured on NBC’s Today Show. Today used the song during its pre-Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast to introduce the “Holiday Kitchen” segment with Food Network chef Tyler Florence. One day later, Today featured Turkey Time again, leading into the “Hot Chef” segment.
“We’re thrilled the song has such high-profile fans,” says Silly Bus co-founder John Henneberger, speaking of the team at NBC. “The exposure is great for Silly Bus, and the fact that it came on days with tremendous family viewership is even better.”
Turkey Time is a holiday-themed song that teaches the history of Thanksgiving. An ode to the Plymouth colony infused with a hint of electronic turkey gobble, children and parents groove to its fun, sing-a-long melody.
Turkey Time is available on Silly Bus’ “Alphabet –Volume 1” album, which teaches the letters and sounds of the ABCs. Due to overwhelming fan support, the song is also available year-round on its own website: www.bestthanksgivingsongever.com
