Dade Medical College Expands to Broward County with a New Campus in Hollywood

Dec. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Dade Medical College will soon be offering diploma and Associate of Science degree programs from a brand-new campus in Hollywood. The new 16,000 square-foot location is now housed at 6837 Taft Street, in the former Bealls Outlet space.

The new campus features 10 classrooms, four laboratories, more than a dozen administrative offices, a library / resource center and a student lounge. Enrollment is now open and classes are set to begin on February 8th, 2010.

Dade Medical College programs of study include Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, General Radiologic Technology, Massage Therapy and Medical Assistant. Additionally, the School of Nursing offers a Practical Nursing diploma program from their Miami, Hialeah and Homestead campuses and a new Registered Nurse Associate of Science degree program from the Miami and Hialeah campuses. Dade Medical College will soon be introducing a new Healthcare Management Associate of Science degree program.

Dade Medical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (Miami Campus) and is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Dade Medical College has also been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, the Florida Board of Massage and is a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges.
