MomTV is pleased to announce that they will be covering the 36th Annual People’s Choice Awards from the Red Carpet with popular mom blogger and MomTV show host, Lee Allport, as the correspondent. The MomTV crew will be on hand to interview celebrities and capture footage for airing on the online network following the event.
This year is one for the books as a record breaking 60 million votes have been cast this for the fan selected candidates in the running.
Executive producer and co-founder of MomTV, Stephanie Piche, is thrilled that her network will be part of the festivities on the Red Carpet and making dreams a reality for one special show host. “MomTV was created as a platform for parents to have a voice and pursue their passions in lively conversations online,” said Piche, “Our MomTV show host, Lee Allport, is traveling from Orlando to fulfill her lifelong dream of being on the Red Carpet here in Los Angeles, interviewing celebrities and broadcasting her talk show. MomTV launched in May 2009 as the first LIVE streaming social TV networking site for Moms (and Dads) to share information from parenting tips to saving money on over 90 live weekly chat shows broadcasting from the social networking community.
Through site sponsorships, MomTV has been able to help parents create memories and connect through video and streaming technology from both Logitech and Creative Labs including holding live web shows and posting tutorials on how to create videos, vlogs (video blogs) and use web cams.

This event will be broadcast live on CBS Television Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at 9:00 PM Eastern and will be hosted by Queen Latifah. MomTV will be airing the footage of this event on their site on Ms. Allport’s Live Show Channel “My Sentiment Exact Lee” http://www.momtv.com the following day, January 7th 2010. The footage will include a video diary from Lee Allport, correspondent, and her trip to Los Angeles.
