Dec. 29, 2009 - PRLog -- Kansas City, Missouri ---Celebrate your ethnic customs and cultural diversity in USARiseUP.com’s ever-growing ethnic community. Our online magazine is proud to give a voice to each ethnic identity housed on this planet. At USARiseUP.com, we aim to provide a forum for members to celebrate, comment on, and educate our diverse global population about current ethnicity and racial issues, along with worldwide cultural development.

USARiseUp.com is a monthly Webzine committed to publishing stories and features highlighting all areas of this planet’s multi-ethnic community and encouraging cultural expansion. Additionally, we endeavor to provide an environment where readers are encouraged to communicate openly with one another — along with our editors and staff — about topics concerning culture, customs and race. “Our mission is to provide a forum where everyone (and we mean, everyone) can engage in an ongoing conversation about race matters—topics they may not be comfortable chatting about in their office hallways, street corners, grocery-store isles and even their own living rooms,” says USARiseUp.com.

One of the ways this mission is accomplished is through our Blog Zone. We aim to provide up-to-date, weekly coverage regarding the cultural topics in politics, health care and everyday living. We strive to incorporate writers who live out the racial issues we are currently facing in America. We also provide links to current articles addressing culturally related topics and issues. Therefore, our hope is that readers will be able to keep a finger on the dawning renaissance of cultural growth and expansion in the world.

While we are constantly updating our informational content, our main goal at USARiseUP.com is to create an environment where readers feel comfortable asking questions and openly discussing experiences regarding racial and ethnicity issues. We want to encourage nationwide, and worldwide, interaction with one another — broadening the awareness of the global population.

USARiseUp.com is your cultural voice! Celebrate your culture, and expand your knowledge of the cultures and races living around you every day. Through all of our interactive forums — from our blogs to our Q&A posts — we will provide you with all the information necessary to do so.

About RiseUp
USARiseUp.com was formed the summer of 2008 as a weekly print publication and arrived on a crowded media stage, chock-a-block with dailies, weeklies and magazines. Its focus is race — a “beat” often overlooked by the mainstream press — and it promised to offer a fresh take on it. It has appeared as an insert in 12 papers including the New York Daily News, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, among others. Despite an overwhelming response and a circulation of 4 million, a few issues later, a cash crunch forced it to disappear. A year (and many teardrops) later, in May 2009, it reappeared — as USARiseUp.

USARiseUp, the digital offspring of RiseUp, is an online magazine about race and ethnicity that celebrates people of different cultures and color. Its physical home is located in the American heartland, in Kansas City, Missouri.
