Long known as a destination for recreation and leisure, Moab campaigns for it's business side in 2010. The Moab Utah Travel Council created a new department for Meetings and Events. Today Team Building is being endorsed.
Teambuilding is naturally epitomized in the act of rafting. Paddle rafts are highly recommended to enable teams to navigate the obstructions and river course together. Lack of teamwork becomes evident. Whether your organization brings employees only to tackle this anointing exercise or opens the travel to include family, Moab will provide great spousal, family fun as well, while the employees build trust, communication and develop respect and leadership.
Southeastern Utah is blessed with an abundance of river recreation opportunities. Although the world famous Colorado River often conjures images of wild, churning rapids and heart-stopping near capsizes, the rivers of the Moab area have a softer side as well. For miles at a time they are simply wide, quiet streams that, on clear days, reflect a mosaic of rock cliffs and sky. Calm water float trips in canoes, kayaks and rafts are available.
