Preamp DJ Academy, Ireland’s first Ableton approved centre launched its new e-learning courses today. These new e-learning course’s include social network features, desktop sharing i.e. you can control another computer in one location from the comfort of your own home and a host of other interesting features to make learning and training with Preamp DJ Academy a unique and exciting experience.
Our real time classes are so real its just like having the instructor in the room with you.
Many of the features available in our web based classes, which are powered by Cisco Sytems, allow students to interact and collaborate with each other via the instant message features. Students may also talk and ask questions etc, if they have a headset and microphone. All course material can be transfered in real-time using Sound Cloud Collaboration Technology. Our online, interactive and real-time© training courses virtually eliminate geographic barriers. With the use of technology you can practically learn without ever having to leave your seat.
This initial launch will only see the release of Ableton Live and Reason e-learning courses, with a full services launch planned for the near future, please check the website for updates.
An attendee of an e-learning course does not need to have a user account to take part in our classes, we invite you to our school be email, you simply follow a link. As an attendee in our e-learning courses you will participate in the class, but will generally not present information i.e. upload documents, etc. Attendees can view shared information and access additional features, such as annotating a document or recording a meeting, if the presenter selects these privileges to assign to attendees.
As an attendee of Preamp DJ Academy’s e-learning class’s you can:
· View documents, presentations, and whiteboards
· View applications, web browsers, or desktops
· Participate in a poll
· Participate in a chat
· View live video
· Download files that the presenter publishes
· Control shared applications, web browsers and desktops
· Share their own documents or presentations
How do attendees join a Preamp DJ Academy e-learning class?
Attendees can join a Preamp DJ Academy e-learning class anytime, anywhere. Our web based classes cross all platforms and operating systems, attendees can join from PC, Mac,Linux, UNIX, and Solaris systems. Attendees can even join class from their smart phone's. Attendees can get to their scheduled Preamp DJ Academy e-learning class from their 3G or WiFi-supported smart phone. Attendees can view screens, presentations, and applications. I-Phone, Nokia and blackberry are currently supported.
