The Gift of Recess at Sheraton National
Host-DC's Recess event is considered by many to be the number one social event in the DC metropolitan area. An alternative to the regular bar and club scene, Recess is a fun way for adults to drink, dance, party, and socialize in a casual and laid back environment.

The playground for this month's edition of Recess is the luxurious Sheraton National Hotel, 900 S. Orme St, Arlington, VA 22204. Games include Nintendo Wii, Twister, Spades, Uno, Taboo, Pictureka, Scattegories, Pictionary, Jenga, Tabletop Soccer, Tabletop Hockey, Connect 4, Battleship, Sorry, Scrabble, Chess, Checkers, Life, Chutes and Ladders, Hungry Hippo, Candyland, Trouble, Operation, Guess Who, Clue, Monopoly, and more! For those that want to dance the night away there is also a large dance floor.
The event will be hosted by the winner of Metromix's Best Local Blog for 2009 K Street Kate! Kate is also hosting a childrens book drive so guests are encouraged to bring a childrens book or to make a $5 donation.
