Active Care Auto donates to Toys for Tots at South Jersey Claims Association

PRLog (Press Release) – Dec 28, 2009 – Parsippany, NJ - Active Care Auto, a nationwide provider of medical cost containment services, thru auto insurance claims management, has teamed up with South Jersey Claims Association for 2009 to donate non violent toys to Toys for Tots.  Active Care Auto has made it their mission this year to donate toys in the underserved communities that have in previous years, come up short at Christmas.

Unfortunately during the holiday season, underprivileged children feel left out and wonder if they will experience the joy of Christmas. "Participating gives Active Care Auto the opportunity to make a difference and bring happiness to many disadvantaged children this Christmas" says Nicole Farro, Active Care Auto.

The teaming of Active Care Auto and the South Jersey Claims association is one that only recently has been forged.  With both groups active within there local communities, it was only logical that they get together and give back as a team.  This year especially, the need for giving is paramount due to the impact of our failing economy.  Families are in need more than ever before.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots foundation since its inception in 1947 has been to "bring the joy of Christmas to America's needy children." The 1999 Toys for Tots campaign surpassed all previous records. In Pasadena alone 31 thousand toys were donated to 127 non-profit organizations. "Local businesses are instrumental in the success of the Toys for Tots program," says local Pasadena coordinator USMCR SSgt. Alfonso Torres. "The important thing is that we are local people helping local families."
