Sight Surgery International provides free eye surgery and educational ophthalmic skills enhancement around the world. The next clinic will be in San Salvador, El Salvador. The Association has requested Brown to coordinate a "Cataractathon"
where Association members all donate part of a week doing free eye surgery for patients who could not otherwise afford cataract surgery. SSI will provide overall coordination, surgical supplies and multiple surgical instrument sets. Baillie R. Brown, the overall clinic coordinator, has been leading surgical teams around the world for 30 years.
We rely on public donations to fund our sight-restorative surgeries around the world.
