What is SwiftGO ?
We have all been there – you leave your office or home to head out to an appointment. You know how long the journey should take you to arrive at your destination to be on time, however inevitably a traffic jam occurs at some point in the journey and a pleasant drive becomes a nightmare of being stuck in traffic.
The road infrastructure is constantly under immense pressure to accommodate thousands of vehicles that make use of the highways and byways. The result is frequent traffic jams where drivers are caught everyday for hours in slow or non-moving traffic. An accident or a road-hazard on one road has a knock-on effect on the other roads as motorists take the “alternative”
Traffic is fluid and can change at any time on any road.
Introducing SwiftGO – A South African built system that allows you to beat the traffic jams and avoid the congested spots in your travels.
SwiftGO system knows where its users are and intelligently identifies any traffic congestion points on any road. This information is sent directly to the user’s phone and displayed on an interactive map in relation to the current position of the user.
All the SwiftGO user needs to do is look at the map and make intelligent route choices to avoid those sections of the roads that are congested.
SwiftGO users can also report Accidents and Road Hazards for other users to see and avoid those areas too
