Follow on Google News | Recession Survival Site Celebrates 1st Year AnniversaryThe Poor Man's Recession Survival Center celebrates its first year of helping average Americans to cope with the recession with its clearinghouse of useful resources.
By: Bruce David The urban survival center is a clearinghouse of usable resources in such areas as finding a job, surviving a lay off, DIY alternative energy projects, getting a grant, 50-state guide for filing consumer complaints, saving and making money, and other tips, tricks and tools for frugal living. The site was launched in January 2009 to help the millions of Americans struggling with the ‘new economy’. Living better on less while minimizing the middle class squeeze for those affected by job layoffs, rising prices and more government intervention in their daily lives has been its goal. Starting in February the Poor Man site will begin offering Recession Survival Workshops throughout Michigan. “Our goal is to offer mainstream Americans a chance to create communities whereby resources and methods for living better on less, the new American paradigm, will be shared,” announced founder and consumer advocate, Bruce David. In addition to regular updates to content and resources on the site, the editors at Poor Man also offer a free weekly Bulletin which contain additional tips and resources and frequent ‘politically incorrect’ insights as to how the middle class can fight the war which has been launched against them through government policies which favor Wall Street and not the working class citizen. http://www.poormansurvival.com # # # Clearinghouse of consumer resources for beating the recession.
