MiCTA, a national technology purchasing cooperative and Kirtland Community College in Roscommon, MI are pleased to announce that they will issue a major technology purchasing Request for Offers (RFO) on January 4, 2010. The Telecommunications, Information Services and Applications (TISA) RFO seeks proposals from qualified vendors for the following services:
• Telecommunications
• Voice over IP
• Internet Access
• Specialty Services and Applications
• Direct Equipment Purchases
MiCTA seeks to negotiate substantial volume purchasing discounts for these services on behalf of its membership. MiCTA's membership is comprised of major higher education institutions, K-12 schools and school districts, municipalities, non-profit organizations, hospitals and health care providers, religious and charitable organizations. Successful vendors will receive endorsement or approval to market discounted services to MiCTA's membership regionally or nationally for a period of not less than two years.
MiCTA welcomes manufacturers, vendors, service providers and resellers of technology services and equipment of any size. Interested parties may visit the MiCTA Web site (http://www.mictatech.org) for more information about the RFO, and register to receive a copy of the document when it is released.
