Yesterday, Chef Roland served FREE, bottomless bowls of Jambalaya, Chicken Noodle Soup & Potato Corn Chowder to the people of Boise. Chef Roland's Gourmet Cooking & Cajun Restaurant was featured as #1 Story of 16, in today's Christmas Eve edition of The Idaho Statesman! Quite a statement, given the fact that racial tension was recently highlighted on the campus of Boise State University, when an African-american student found racist fliers at her desk.
Chef Roland's Cajun Cuisine is a popular item in Boise these days, and for the past couple of years, Chef Roland (a well-known African-American, Boise, ID - Chef), has offered his Cajun Gourmet cooking, during the Christmas holidays, free of charge, to the people of Boise.
Given the high-quality of product that Chef Roland provides for customers, it's amazing that he feels compelled during the holidays to give freely to people in the Boise community. All that said, Chef Roland's Cajun cooking is so good, he would make lots of money by selling his cooking during the holidays; and instead, he gives. Chef Roland makes Boise a better place to live!
