Dec. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- The website launched 2009 inside a dorm room by twin brothers, Kenneth and Keith Gibson.  Being on campus, the exercise science majors observed the demand of such a website. “Students were always interested at what was going on at their own and surrounding universities. These events needed more publicity” says Keith Gibson.  With only seven employees the company is still small but growing rapidly and looking for partners.
“We needed a way to connect the events with the people. You can’t go if you don’t know about it.” says Keith Gibson.
A huge problem companies have is connecting their events with their audience. With this website, no longer does the promoter find the audience but the audience finds them. There are millions of functions every year that have the potential to be great but end up mediocre.  This is great for up-and-coming artist, promoters, celebrities, clubs, bars, corporate events, fraternities, and the list goes on.
I Just Party offers users the ability to look across the U.S. and Canada in search of posted events. Search by zip code, keyword, state or city.  Anyone can make an account to post an event for either themselves or a third-party.  This is huge for any function, big or small. On the other hand, this is free advertisement. Who can pass this up during a recession?
The company has plans on updating the website in the near future. Expanding to different regions and adding things such as videos, blogging, additional log-in info, and subcategories and are currently searching for investors.

“This form of promotion is much more convenient than paper flyers or any promotional team for hire.” says Kenneth Gibson.
Overall, people need to get out more. Most social networking websites keep up us in our home in front of our computer. This isn’t helping the nation at all.  In a country with obesity on the rise, what better way to get active than party?

The company is currently searching for more promoters. You can visit the website or contact the company at www.ijustparty.com.
