SharkBreak Partners With Reef Check
SharkBreak, the website designed to raise awareness for ocean preservation and marine life conservation, announced today that it is partnering with Reef Check to educate the public about the value of reef ecosystems, and the current crisis affecting marine life.
This new partnership is the latest product of the SharkBreak Partnership Program, where SharkBreak provides non-profit organizations with online outreach services at little to no cost. With this new partnership, SharkBreak will be furthering the Reef Check’s efforts to educate through social networks and online environments.
As a part of this process, SharkBreak will be promoting Reef Check’s shared mission of increasing environmental awareness through the SharkBreak website, http://www.sharkbreak.com. SharkBreak will also be developing online tools, such as widgets, for Reef Check. Reef Check advocates can easily embed these widgets into their blog, website, or social network comments to show their support for Reef Check.

ABOUT REEF CHECK (RC): Founded in 1996, RC is an international non-profit organization dedicated to conservation of reef ecosystems worldwide. With volunteer teams in over 90 countries and territories, RC works to create partnerships among community volunteers, government agencies, businesses, universities, and other non-profits. The goal is to educate the public about the value of reef ecosystems as well as to create a global network of trained volunteer diving teams who regularly monitor and report on reef status in support of science-based management.
