Hero Online Joins in the Spirit of Christmas with Special Holiday Events

Dec. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Digital Media Exchange (dme) has announced that Hero Online players can now join in two special Christmas events to celebrate the spirit of the season: Obtain the Red and Blue Socks Event and the Experience and Item Drop Event.

The Obtain the Red and Blue Socks Event will run from December 23 2009 up to January 22 2010.  To participate, players can obtain Red Socks if they use the Lot during the Event, and Blue Socks through the GM’s Personal Shop Event.  Players may exchange the Items that they want from the Event Manager by collecting a certain amount of socks for the item during the Event.

The Experience and Item Drop Event will run from December 23 2009 up to January 10 2010.  During this period, there will be a 50% Experience and Item Drop Boost 24 hours a day.

Hero Online is a free – to – play MMORPG that is richly layered in martial arts combat and mystic Oriental legends, creating a unique fantasy world with stunning graphics and unforgettable gameplay.  The storyline of the game which is based in ancient China is about 12 demons that were once captured by great Heroes, but have now been set free.  It is now up to the players to come forth as new Heroes and defeat the demons once again.

Aside from these seasonal events, there will also be a Diamond Castle Battle beginning on December 17 2009.  The Diamond Castle Battle event is a “capture – the – flag” type of event which will occur 24/7 so players can participate any time they want.  

Players will be able to enter the Diamond Castle through the Battle Manager.  The Castle Gate will be regenerated every 10 minutes while The Statue will be regenerated every 60 minutes.  In the Diamond Castle Battle, the AOE skills will only affect the targeted character.
