Prices of Chinese Man-made Boards Will Increase Further
In the second half year in 2009, because the global economy was getting better, the good factories had achieved more orders than the first half of year . In the mean time, prices of raw materials for man-made boards such as logs, glues had increased about 2%.
Recently, the electricity prices in China have increased 0.028RMB per kilowatt hour on average, which will lead to about 1% increase in the costs of production . Though the freight charges had doubled in the second half year in 2009, shipping companies said they probably would increase the freight charges again in the future .
Because of the above-mentioned reasons, the prices of Chinese floor, plywood, blockboard, fiberboard and other man-made boards will increase next year .
