Internet dance radio station Dance Mix America (DMA), ranked highest among its peers according to authority web traffic site alexa.com, believes that our outgoing decade represents the best ever for club dance music. DMA has reviewed the output from previous decades and is sure that the years 2000 through 2009 will go down in history, due to the quality of dance tracks released.
Jason Jensen, founder and director of DMA, has a theory to support the internet dance radio station's assessment. "The early years of this decade saw the recording industry reach its zenith, as a slew of top artists released hot tracks, picked up by some of the best remixers we have ever seen and distributed to eager audiences. The next decade is likely to see a transition as new methods of media delivery provide a backdrop for innovations in sound and style."
DMA is asking its listener base to contribute their ideas as the internet dance radio station prepares a compilation of tracks for broadcast on New Years Eve. Listeners are asked to pick their preferred dance tracks from the decade and a panel of experts will choose the top 30 hot club dance tracks, to be broadcast live on DMA, December 31st.
"We are looking for picks related to high energy club and peak hour remixes, with the emphasis on vocals," confirmed Jensen. "Any such track/mix that was first released during this decade is eligible. We are sure that the final list will be outstanding and that night's show will be something to remember."

Iconic remixers such as Tony Moran, Hex Hector and Victor Calderone are sure to be among the top picks, with Deborah Cox, Suzanne Palmer and Whitney Houston all dance floor favorite performers.
DMA listeners should mail their top picks to info@dancemixamerica.com, together with their name and home city. If the track nominated is played on December 31st, the sender's name will be mentioned on the air. In addition, all those who submit picks will have their email addresses entered into a drawing for some great prizes to be given away that night.
