WAL-MART JOINS SAVING OUR CHILDREN FOUNDATION ON JANUARY 2ND and 3RD IN HOSTING THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE GOURMET COFFEE CONNECT(TM) TO RAISE FUNDS FOR AT-RISK, DISADVANTAGED AND HOMELESS YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITIES

Houston/Harris & Fort Bend County, TX, December 20, 2009 – Wal-Mart will kick off the 2010 New Year by hosting the official launch of The Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) on January 2nd and 3rd at their Westpark location from 9 AM to 4 PM. Persons or sponsors interested in participating in the official launch of The Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) fund-raising event should call 832.969.5666.

The Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) is a fund-raising opportunity that falls under the Young Entrepreneur’s Program (YEP!). Saving Our Children Foundation developed a concept of fund-raising opportunities that has the power to transcend the current failings of a recessed economy. By taking coffee, the world's second most valuable traded commodity, behind only petroleum, and applying business and non-profit fund-raising concepts, Saving Our Children Foundation has built a non-profit franchise opportunity that focuses on supply and demand.

Funds raised by The Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) are utilized to support outreach, educational and economic development programs such as YEP!. YEP! is a comprehensive, hands-on development program through which young adults between the ages of 18 – 24 gain practical experience that takes them through the entire process of starting and maintaining a small business. Additionally, participants partake in career development, post-secondary education exploration and job preparation activities.

Saving Our Children Foundation’s goal is to open and operate ten Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) stations in the year 2010. Additionally, the foundation expects to collaborate with local schools, organizations, churches, businesses and other non-profits to incorporate the program as a fund-raising opportunity for programs and events. The Gourmet Coffee Connect(TM) can be utilized as a unique and creative collaboration for any event.

With the support of Wal-Mart, Saving Our Children Foundation is able to provide programs and opportunities to at-risk, disadvantaged and homeless youth in our communities during their time of need.
