Morgan’s and Phillip’s (M&P) Designer Michael Satterfield has unveiled a new design for 2010, and his first designs in ladies wear. Available in January in a light pink or white t-shirt and tank-top, they feature a bold design punctuated by the phrase “Find the Cure”. Many in the M&P family have been touched by breast cancer. “I had been planning to launch into women’s clothing at some point in 2010, but when my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, I thought a shirt to support the research would be the best place to start” said Michael.
M&P was created in 2007 as a custom clothing design studio, designing limited edition clothing under privet labels. In late 2008 they launched their first line of t-shirts under the M&P name, unlike most T-Shirt companies, M&P produces its designs in limited editions only. “We want people to see our designs as unique, not something you would pick up at any retailer. We have shirts that are limited to 500 prints and after that no more will be made in that edition, if we ever do reissue a design we mark it as a 2nd edition” said Michael. M&P is also working on a new line of messenger bags, jackets, and hats, that will be their first items offered from the ground up.
