This powerful tester’s functions include upstream and downstream rate measurement, error count, modem simulation, and ping and trace testing. Its compact size, rugged design, simple operation and powerful function make the tester an invaluable tool for ADSL technicians and engineers for field use.
This intelligent ADSL 2+ tester, model 2048, operates under the Windows™ CE platform and is able to browse websites. It is equipped with a large 4.3” inch backlit color touch display. The tester offers auto-off function, various voice alarms and LED indications. The tester has a maximum transmission distance of 6.5km. Measurement is carried out immediately with a simple push of the “Auto Test” key. Test results can be uploaded, saved and printed through Test Manager Pro Software included. The ADSL 2+ tester’s embedded software is upgradable via an Ethernet or USB interface ensuring the tester’s future functionality and a good investment. It supports testing on ADSL 2+ (G.992.5), ADSL 2 (G.992.3), RE-ADSL (Annex L), Double Upstream (Annex M), and it is downward compatible with ADSL (G.DMT, G.Lite, T1.43) line standards.
