RAMP RFID has implemented a process temperature monitoring and control solution for construction company Fulton Hogan’s precast facility in Victoria. The solution utilises Identec Solutions ILR technology and is integrated directly into the process control PLC using the Modbus protocol. The PLC controls the application of steam used to cure the concrete during manufacture and is currently used by Fulton Hogan to manufacture of precast tunnel segments for the Adelaide Desalination Project, currently the largest desalination plant in the world.
