LOS ANGELES, CA, Dec 18 (RLMR) -- Roaring Lion energy drink today announced the winners of the 2009 Roaring Lion “Photo Safari” contest, which ran exclusively on the Roaring Lion energy drink Facebook Fan Page from November 2, 2009 through December 18, 2009.
The contest, which encouraged participants to take creative pictures of anything that reminded them of “Roaring Lion”, was hugely successful and drew entries from across the nation and as far as China. In the end, it was determined that first prize of $500 would be awarded to an entry titled “Getting Extreme with Roaring Lion” submitted by fan Grant Zubritsky.
Second prize, and the winner of a 24 pack of 12 oz Roaring Lion cans, was awarded to an entry titled, “RL Brain Slice” submitted by fan Aaron Null. Third prize, and the winner of a 6 pack of 12 oz Roaring Lion cans, was awarded to fan Supriya Sandhu for her nature-inspired Lion images.
The “Photo Safari” contest was the first of several events to be held on the Roaring Lion Facebook fan page through the end of 2010 focusing on user-created digital media submissions.
