COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS SPECIALIST TO SPEAK ON POST- FIDEL CUBA
AT JANUARY 13 BREAKFAST MEETING
Stamford, CT – The public is invited to a breakfast presentation by Julia E. Sweig, Ph.D., Director, Latin America Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations at the Stamford Yacht Club on Wednesday January 13.
Dr. Sweig is the author of Friendly Fire: Losing Friends and Making Enemies in the Anti-American Century as well as numerous scholarly articles and congressional testimonies on Cuba and American foreign policy. Her latest book is Cuba: What Everyone Needs to Know. She serves as a consultant on Latin American affairs for The Aspen Institute’s Congressional Program and is a frequent commentator for major television, radio and print media.
The public are invited to attend the event at the Stamford Yacht Club, 97 Ocean Drive, Stamford. The cost of the breakfast and presentation is $50 for the public. It is free to Ambassadors’
