Alvarez is extremely experienced in tutoring beginners and advanced talent who learn at all different levels. His exceptional training as a piano teacher has provided his students with an opportunity to be excepted in the most prestigious music colleges. His students have competed in auditions at the Steinway Hall in New York City , participated & performed at the AMTL's Young Musicians Concert at the Weill Recital Hall and Carnegie Hall in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 as well.
Mr. Jose I. Alvarez graduated in music and majored in piano & composition. He also obtained numerous awards & prizes in winning competitions.
