SPATE Magazine released its biggest impact list of 2009. They were able to come up with the list by going through hip hops elite and their accomplishments. Here is the list by SPATE Magazine.

1- Eminem Why? He had the biggest rap album of the year
2- Jay Z Why? He had the second biggest rap album of the year and also broke other records.
3- 50 cent Why? Made major business deals such and cologne, movies and others. He also had the third biggest album of the year.
4- Rick Ross Why? Even with all the beef and crazy things going on he managed to sell some records. He was also on the list for hottest Mc's.
5- Jadakiss Why? He dropped one of the most anticipated albums of the year
6- Fabolous Why? He dropped one of the most anticipated number one albums of the year
7- Drake Why? He managed to write big records and get nominated for a grammy
8- Lil Wayne Why? For his great achievements with his group Young Money and being XXL number 2 hottest MC's.
9- Raekwon Why? Releasing one of the most anticipated albums of the year.
10- Black Eyed Peas Why? They released one of the biggest albums of the year

SPATE Magazine was founded by Antoine King and Rondell aka "MaddMann" Maddox
in 2006. It was launched in 2007. After a brief print run, they decided to launch on the web and the rest is history.
