Happy Holidays Friends, Family, Colleagues and Clients!
My 2009 holiday wish is to add a little cheer to the women who receive services during Christmas at Grady Memorial Hospital's Women Health Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Every year, people give to locally famous charities, such as Hosea Feed the Hungry. Well, this year I wanted to do something different. The women who are patients during the holidays are dealing with several emotional feelings, all at once: sick, in the hospital, in a ward, no insurance, so many ill women, it's the holidays, no man, half a man, no children, no family, all alone in the county hospital on Christmas!
I know these women would appreciate the feeling that some one cares, especially at Christmas! A small gift card makes an easy gift that we will distribute to the women. And, when they are feeling better, they can use your generous contribution to redeem their gift. $5 and $10 gift cards will make a Great Gift for the women at Grady!
Our goal is 60 gift cards with 5 Days to Go!
