Mrs. Kringles Cake ‘n Crumbs Cookie Bakeoff Winner is Announced

For the first year, Cake ‘n Crumbs and Tongue-N-Cheeky blogger, Brooke McLay, teamed up to offer the Mrs. Kringles Cake ‘n Crumbs Cookie Bakeoff.  This year’s theme was Santa’s Favorite Cookie.  Each entrant came up with an original idea and posted photos and a story to go along with the cookie recipe on their own blog.  The entries were then judged on perceived taste of recipe, creativity/originality/presentation of the submitted recipe and contest blog post, and the number of votes for each entry.  Out of over 25 entries, Sarah and Amanda’s Macaroon Cookies were chosen as the winner based on their creative story and blog post and the original idea of a macaroon cookie on a piece of chocolate.  To try their recipe, go to http://www.cakencrumbs.com and follow the links to Sarah’s blog.
